Two more in Galle tested COVID-19 positive
A fishery businessman of Rathgama Wella Fishery Dock on Baladhakasha Mawatha, Galle and a person from Thotagoda, Akmeemana have tested positive for COVID-19, the Southern Province Health Services Director's Office said.
The businessman had visited the Peliyagoda Central Fish Market and thereafter, he had been instructed to be quarantined at his home.
He had undergone a PCR test, which confirmed that he was COVID-19 positive.
The person from Akmeemana had undergone a PCR test on October 26 at a private hospital in Galle to go overseas for employment.
The hospital had instructed the person to go to their Colombo Branch to collect the PCR test report when he was informed that he had contacted the disease.
They have been sent to Hambantota Hospital.
