17th Covid death reported from Sri Lanka

The 17th Covid death was reported in Sri Lanka short while ago, the Health Ministry announced.

A 41 – year- old male from Ja- Ela suffering from Cirrhosis passed away while receiving treatment at the IDH hospital, the health ministry said.

This is the 4th Covid related death reported in Sri Lanka in the span of a week. (NewsWire)
