Army to look into GMOA’s allegations against Brigadier

The Government Medical Officers Association has announced it will withdraw from services at the District Hospital in Sampathnuwara in the Northern Province.

In a letter addressed to the Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi, the GMOA said the decision was taken after Brigadier K.K.S. Parakum had intimidated the Head of the hospital.

When inquired in this regard, Military Spokesman Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe said that the Military was looking into the allegations. (NewsWire)
