Two PHI officers from Ginthupitiya Office contract Covid-19

Two Public Health Inspectors (PHI) attached to the Ginthupitiya Public Health Inspectors Office in Colombo have tested positive for COVID-19.

The PHI Association said that the two officers had showed symptoms of the virus and had been subjected to PCR tests, following which they were found to have contracted the virus.

Other PHI officers attached to the Ginthupitiya office have been isolated and are to undergo PCR tests in the coming days, the Association further said. (NewsWire)
