Thirty six Bodyline workers test COVID-19 positive
Thirty six COVID-19 cases had been detected among the workers of the Bodyline Garment Factory, Horana.
It was revealed at a high level committee meeting held in Horana with the participations of the Provincial Health Director along with health officials in Horana and the administrative officials of the Bodyline Garment factory, sources said.
The factory workers have been placed under self-quarantine, the sources said.
The factory management had decided to pay their salaries as usual at the meeting and the factory has been closed until further notice.
It will be re-opened on the approval of the Health Services Director, the sources said.
