CCTV : Thieves rob house of family placed in quarantine centre

A group of individuals are reported to have broken into the house of a family placed in quarantine at a quarantine centre in Gampaha.
CCTV footage shows the suspects breaking into the house in the Horanpella Gaalakade area in Minuwangoda.

The suspects had damaged the CCTV camera fixed at the house after stealing a number of things, including electrical equipment from the residence.

The Minuwangoda Police has commenced investigations into the robbery. (NewsWire)
