Katunayake Airport worker tests positive for Covid

A staff member of the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Public Health Inspector in charge of the Airport Dr. Chandika Bandara Wickramasuriya said the woman has been identified as an employee of the janitorial services of the airport.

PCR tests conducted on the woman have confirmed that she has been infected with the virus. (NewsWire)
