Individual who visited Colombo International book fair tests positive for COVID-19

An individual who had visited the Colombo International book fair has tested positive for COVID-19.

The National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 said that the patient had visited the book fair on the 23rd of September.

The individual is also said to have travelled to the Colombo Bus Depot in Fort on the same day.

He is also reported to have toured Nuwara- Eliya on the 30th of September.

The patient has been identified as a 36-year-old resident of Chillaw.

He was detected following PCR tests conducted recently. (NewsWire)
