2 doctors from a viral video peddling false or misleading coronavirus information say they met with Vice President Mike Pence

- Two medical practitioners who are part of a dubious organization spreading unproven coronavirus information said they met with Vice President Mike Pence, the chair of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
- The two were featured in the viral coronavirus misinformation video that has since been removed from social media websites.
- Video from the organization's press conference was featured in the viral video, where they touted unsubstantiated claims such as hydroxychloroquine being a coronavirus cure.

Two members of a dubious organization spreading unproven coronavirus information said they met with Vice President Mike Pence, the head of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
Dr. Simone Gold and Dr. James Todaro said on Twitter that they met with Pence to discuss doctors' abilities to prescribe hydroxychloroquine. Pence's schedule for July 28 shows that he had a planned 5:30 p.m. meeting with physicians to discuss COVID-19. Pence's staff did not respond to Business Insider's request for comment.
