Dickoya MC Secretary, eight councillors quarantined
Hatton Dickoya Municipal Council (MC) Public Health Inspector (PHI) Ramiah Balakrishnan said that the MC Secretary and eight members have been directed to quarantine from Friday after a MC member had tested positive for COVID-19.
PHI Balakrishnan said that a group of MC members had attended a birthday party at an opposition councillor’s residence on December 19 and they were directed to self-quarantine. The former Central Provincial Councilor who had contracted the virus also participated in the party.
