India Reports 43,393 New Cases With 911 People Succumbing To Covid In Last 24 Hrs

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> India reported 43,393 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours while 44,459 people recovered from the deadly virus across the country. The daily positivity rate has come down to 2.42 per cent &mdash; less than 3 per cent for the 18th day in a row. The weekly positivity rate remains below 5% and is currently at 2.36%. The daily positivity rate is at 2.42%, less than 3% for 18 consecutive days.&nbsp;</p> <p>Testing capacity has been substantially ramped up as the number of people so far has gone up to 42.70 crore. 36.89 crore vaccine doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.</p> <p>Tamil Nadu reported 3,211 new Covid cases with 3,565 recoveries and 57 fatalities on Thursday.
