The cases of coronavirus may be decreasing in the country, but it does not mean that one should let your guard down. Several states have relaxed the lockdown and curfew restrictions.

After staying behind locked doors for months, people have now started venturing out. Offices have resumed operations and it is important that you be careful while stepping out so that you can protect yourself and your family from getting infected. If you are also amongst those people who are going to leave the safety of your homes for essential shopping or work, then it is critical that you follow certain things.

Things To Follow After Lockdown

1. Make sure to wear a double-layer mask before leaving the house. The face mask is the first and foremost weapon in the fight against COVID-19.

2. Don't forget to carry a bottle of hand sanitizer that contains alcohol. You can also wear gloves to avoid touching any surface directly.

3. Avoid using public transport as far as possible. Book an auto-rickshaw or taxi if you don't have your own vehicle.

4. Avoid crowded places when going out to shop.

5. Don't touch your eyes, mouth, or nose when outdoors. If you are not wearing gloves, don't forget to sanitize your hands from time to time.

6. Don't spend too much time outdoors. If you have to go out for the purchase of essential items, try to return home as soon as possible.

7. Make sure to disinfect your belongings on your return home. If you have bought vegetables or fruits, soak them in water for at least two hours.

8. Remember to wash your hands with soap or use a sanitizer.

9. As soon as you enter the house, take a shower and wash your clothes.
