Black Marketers, Hoarders To Be Booked Under Goondas Act: TN CM Stalin

<p><strong>Chennai:</strong> Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Saturday instructed police personnel to book people, who sell Remdesivir drug and oxygen cylinders at an exorbitant price to the Covid patients will be booked under Goondas Act.</p> <p>The Tamil Nadu CM said that the police have been ordered to book hoarders and black marketers of Remdesivir injection and those who sell oxygen cylinders at a high price, under the Goondas Act. The state government is selling the drug at an MRP of ₹9,480 per vial but the black market rate is much higher.&nbsp;</p> <p>Meanwhile, the friends and relatives of the Covid patients have been creating chaos at the Nehru Stadium to get Remdesivir drug. To manage crowd, the sale of the drug was shifted from Kilpauk Medical College to Nehru Stadium two days back.</p>
