Tamil Nadu: Cake Exhibition Held To Raise Covid Awareness Among Kids Amid Third Wave Speculations

<p><strong>Coimbatore:</strong> Amid severe health crisis with Covid still prevails in many states, Tamil Nadu has proved its mettle in creating awareness about Covid-19 in unique ways. With third wave is being speculated to effect children, a month-long awareness drive is being conducted in Coimbatore.&nbsp;</p> <p>From Wednesday, a cake exhibition is being held in Coimbatore which aims to bring awareness among not only adults but to the children, as third wave is speculated to be impacting to those who are under 18-year-old age group. These themes based cakes include tribute to frontline workers, bringing awareness regarding generic Covid norms like washing hands &amp; maintaining social distance and most importantly getting vaccinated," said Vijayalakshmi, an organiser of the cake show, according to ANI.</p> <p>She also stated that this initiative was mainly taken to create awareness among kids. "The exhibition will continue for 30 days, with cakes of various themes which can attract children at the same time educate them about the significance of Covid norms," she added.</p> <p>Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu reported 1,791 Covid cases on Wednesday taking the active caseload to 20,083 in the state.&nbsp;</p>
