Delhi Lockdown Wedding Pass: Know How To Apply For E-Pass Online
<p><strong>New Delhi: </strong>On Thursday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced a weekend curfew in the city which will begin from 10 pm Friday and will continue till 6 am Monday.</p> <p>The new regulations comes another blow to the wedding season, since the guestlist has already been capped of 100 and 200 people for any close and open space events respectively in the capital, as per the order issued by the administration in the last week of March.</p> <p>While the "bride, groom, and close family members" are exempted from the night curfew restrictions, no such provisions are available for guests attending the wedding.</p> <p>"The bride, groom and their close family members will require e-passes that will be issued by district magistrates concerned. But, no guests will be allowed during stipulated curfew hours from 10 pm to 5 am," a senior Delhi government officer told PTI last week. </p> <p><strong>ALSO READ: <span style="color: #f80707;"><a style="color: #f80707;" href="https://ift.tt/3gdgsvG Curfew News: CM Kejriwal Announces Weekend Curfew To Break The Chain</a></span></strong></p> <p>Couples are worried that the condition of getting e-passes for attending weddings will prove to be a deterrent for wedding guests.</p> <p><strong>How To Apply For E-Pass To Travel During Night Curfew:</strong></p> <p><strong>Step 1.</strong> Eligible users can apply for the night curfew e-pass by loggin on to: epass.jantasamvad.org or delhi.gov.in.</p> <p><strong>Step 2: </strong>On the Delhi government website's homepage you will find a link that says "Click Here to Apply for ePass for Night Curfew from 10:00 PM to 05:00 AM" which will redircet you to epass.jantasamvad.org.</p> <p><strong>Step 3.</strong> On the homepage, select language you want to proceed in. The portal has two languages: Hindi and English.</p> <p><strong>Step 4.</strong> Fill in details including contact number, name of applicant, district, address of engagement, type of service, from & till dates.</p> <p><strong>Step 5.</strong> Submit ID proof and check the acknowledgement box and Submit.</p> <p>You will get the e-pass Reference Number using which you will be able to check whether you have got the e-pass or not. </p> <p><strong>How To Check Your E-Pass Status?</strong></p> <p><strong>Step 1. </strong>Log on to - epass.jantasamvad.org or delhi.gov.in.</p> <p><strong>Step 2: </strong>On the Delhi government website's homepage you will find a link that says "Click Here to Apply for ePass for Night Curfew from 10:00 PM to 05:00 AM" which will redircet you to epass.jantasamvad.org.</p> <p><strong>Step 3. </strong>Select you preferred language</p> <p><strong>Step 4. </strong>Click on the ‘Check status’ option.</p> <p><strong>Step 5. </strong>Enter your e-pass ID and click on submit.</p>
