Test captain Azhar Ali raises over Rs2m for coronavirus relief
Pakistan’s Test captain Azhar Ali has raised more than Rs2 million to raise funds for the people being affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The cricket bat with which he scored a triple century against West Indies in a day-night Test was sold to the Blades of Glory cricket museum for Rs1 million.
On the other hand, the Champions Trophy 2017 jersey was sold to Kash Villani, who had the highest bid of Rs1.1 million.

The base price for the items was set at Rs1 million.
Azhar had stated that the memorabilia was close to him and would keep it safe and sound with him. “However, I would be extremely happy if it can help someone during this critical phase.”
