Person repatriated from Dubai among yesterday’s 27 COVID patients

Sri Lanka detected 27 new COVID-19 patients yesterday (Thursday) as the total cases count went up to 824.

8 patients recovered and got discharged in last 24 hours taking the total recovered to 240.

Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that 25 of these patients are from Sri Lanka Navy taking the total infected Navy Personnel to 393.

One other patient identified is child who had come into contact with a navy personnel.

The other patient is a person who was repatriated from Dubai on Thursday.
