Lalu’s Younger Son Tejashwi To Get Engaged Tomorrow, Bride-To-Be’s Identity Remains Mystery

<p><strong>Patna: </strong>The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders and workers in Bihar are ecstatic and in celebratory mood as former chief minister and party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav&rsquo;s younger son Tejashwi Yadav is set to get engaged in Delhi on Thursday.</p> <p>32-year-old Tejashwi Yadav, arguably the most eligible bachelor in Bihar&rsquo;s political circles, is scheduled to get engaged in Delhi on Thursday.</p> <p>The identity of the bride-to-be though remains a mystery since all members of the RJD chief's extended family are camping in Delhi for the &lsquo;sagaai&rsquo; (engagement).</p> <p>&ldquo;We are exhilarated. Tejashwi is the only one left (among the nine children of Lalu-Rabri) to get married,&rdquo; PTI quoted Maner MLA and RJD chief state spokesperson Bhai Virendra as saying.</p> <p>Virendra, who expressed his delight by distributing &lsquo;laddoos&rsquo;, however, did not have much of a clue regarding the marriage date or who the bride was.</p> <p>&ldquo;After the engagement, we look forward to a grand wedding. Entire Bihar would like to join its beloved leader in his moment of happiness,&rdquo; he said.</p> <p>The function, according to sources close to the family, is being kept low key at the instance of Tejashwi Yadav, who is wary of a large gathering at a time a fresh spurt in Covid-19 cases is being feared.</p> <p>There are speculations that the wedding of Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly, may take place soon since December 14 heralds &lsquo;kharmaas&rsquo; - a month-long period during which all auspicious functions are kept in abeyance.</p>
