Covid Update: After A Day's Break, India Again Reports Over 41K Coronavirus Cases In Last 24 Hrs

<p><strong>Corona Cases Update:&nbsp;</strong>After a drop in daily Coronavirus surge on Tuesday, India has again reported over 40,000 cases in a single day. The country has reported 41,965 new cases in the last 24 hours. The active cases account for 1.15% of total cases and the active caseload stands at 3,78,181.</p> <p>The country's recovery rate is currently at 97.51% as 33,964 patients recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries tally to 3,19,93,644</p> <p>In less than four days, India again administered 1 crore vaccinations in a day. As many as 1,08,83,963 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday.</p> <h3><strong>Kerala</strong></h3> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">After witnessing a dip, Kerala again recorded over 30,000 cases in a single day. The state reported 30,203 new Covid-19</span><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">&nbsp;cases and 20,687 recoveries taking its active cases to 2,18,892. It also reported 115 deaths in the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll to 20,788. The state's test positivity rate stands at 18.86 per cent.</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Kerala Health Minister Veena George Tuesday said that the state government plans to vaccinate everyone above 18 years with the first dose September 10. "This will actually depend on the availability of the vaccine doses. The union government has agreed to provide us with the doses," George added.</span></p> <h3><strong><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Maharashtra</span></strong></h3> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Maharashtra on Tuesday reported 4,196 cases of Coronavirus pushing the total covid cases in the state to 64.64,876. While 4688 patients recovered from the virus, 104 persons lost their lives due to the infection the last 24 hours, according to the state health ministry.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
