Apple just tapped a key health exec to work on its cars project

Scoop: Apple taps watch mastermind Kevin Lynch to work on self-driving cars
- Apple's Kevin Lynch, a VP of technology, has been tapped to help lead its work on cars.
- Apple is reportedly revamping its self-driving-car project, and parts of its health division are in flux.
- Lynch, an architect of the Apple Watch, has shaped the giant's strategy on health and wearables.

More kids are being hospitalized with COVID. Experts say we need to vaccinate more people, and use masks in schools.
- There's been a slight rise in children being hospitalized with COVID in several US states.
- Doctors are worried more kids could develop life-threatening complications in the weeks ahead.
- More vaccinated adults, and more masks for the unvaccinated, would both help.

- Dr. Anthony Fauci said it would be "reasonable" to assume vaccinated people are less likely to spread COVID-19.
- Vaccinated people who get COVID-19 typically have less virus in their nasal passages.
- That would suggest that breakthrough infections are less contagious than infections in unvaccinated people.
