IPL 2021: Kiran More, Part Of Mumbai Indians Coaching Staff Tests Corona Positive, Picture Shows Him With The Team

<p>The Indian Premier League (IPL) is under the scanner since a few days now. Many are criticizing the organization of the tournament amid a global pandemic. The number of cases have been going up in the past few days. A few players also have been tested positive. Nitish Rana, Devdutt Padikkal were among the players who were tested positive for Covid-19 virus.</p> <p>The latest addition to the list of people affected by Corona is Kiran More. The ex-selector of team India is a scout and wicket-keeping consultant.</p> <p>The official statement by Mumbai Indians on Twitter read: &ldquo;Official Statement:</p> <p>Mumbai Indians&rsquo; scout and wicket keeping consultant Mr. Kiran More has tested positive for Covid-19. Mr. More is currently asymptomatic and has been isolated. Mumbai Indians and Kiran More have followed all the BCCI health guidelines. The MI medical team will continue to monitor Mr. More&rsquo;s health and abide by the BCCI protocols. The situation regarding Covid is not getting better and the cases re rising every day. The state of Maharashtra saw the biggest single-day spike on Monday.</p> <p>IPL authorities are maintaining that they are taking utmost care of the players and surrounding and making sure that the bio-secure bubble rules are not broken.</p> <p>The IPL matches will take place without any fans in the stands due to the Covid-19 restrictions.</p>
