WATCH : MP Harsha shares Parliament Rs 296 meal video

Video footage has been shared on the controversial lunch supplied by Parliament for MPs during Parliament sittings.

The video footage shared by Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Dr. Harsha de Silva shows the buffet style lunch with two types of rice and over 06 other dishes.

Newly elected MPs had recently raised objection to a statement made by a Parliament official claiming that the meal was provided at a cost of Rs.3000 per person.

However, Speaker of the House Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena today informed Parliament that the cost of a meal provided in Parliament for MPs has been estimated at Rs. 296 per person. (Newswire)
