India Clocks 25,404 Coronavirus Cases As Kerala Registers Over 15K Infections In Last 24 Hrs

<p><strong>Corona Cases Update:&nbsp;</strong>India is witnessing a downward trend in Covid cases since the past few days and the country has again registered cases below 30,000.</p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">India has reported 25,404 new Covid </span><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">cases, 37,127 recoveries, and 339 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per Health Ministry.</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> Total cases: 3,32,89,579 </span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Active cases: 3,62,207</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> Total recoveries: 3,24,84,159</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> Death toll: 4,43,213</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> Total Vaccination: 75,22,38,324 (78,66,950 in last 24 hrs)</span></p> <h3><strong>Kerala</strong></h3> <p id="0" class="story_para_0">Kerala logged 15,058 fresh Covid-19 cases and 99 deaths which pushed the total infections to 43,90,489 and the death toll to 22,650. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) was recorded at 16.39 per cent after testing 91,885 samples in the last 24 hours, a state government release said.</p> <p id="1" class="story_para_1">The bulletin also said that since Sunday, 28,439 people recovered from the infection taking the total number to 41,58,504 and the number of active cases to 2,08,773. Among the 14 districts, Thrissur recorded the highest with 2,158 case followed by Kozhikode (1,800), Ernakulam (1,694), Thiruvananthapuram (1,387), Kollam (1,216), Malappuram (1,199), Palakkad (1,124), Alappuzha (1,118) and Kottayam (1,027).</p> <h3 id="1" class="article_embeddedVideo article_youtube_player"><strong>Maharashtra</strong></h3> <div class="article_embeddedVideo article_youtube_player">Maharashtra on Monday recorded 2,740 new Covid cases, the lowest since 9 February. The state also reported the lowest number of deaths (27) in the last six months. With this, the cumulative coronavirus tally in Maharashtra crossed the 65-lakh mark. The number of daily cases and deaths witnessed a significant dip as compared to Sunday when the state had reported 3,623 infection cases and 46 fatalities.</div> <div class="article_embeddedVideo article_youtube_player"> <p>&nbsp;Over 3,200 patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, pushing the recovery total to 63,09,021. The state has now 49,880 active cases.&nbsp;</p> <p>Maharashtra's recovery rate stands at 97.05%, while the fatality rate is 2.12%.&nbsp;</p> </div>
