Tamil Nadu Govt Announces New Lockdown Restrictions, E-Pass For Travelers From Other States & More

<p><strong>Chennai: </strong>Tamil Nadu government has announced new lockdown guidelines in the wake of Coronavirus spread in the State. The new restrictions will be effective from April 26.</p> <p>As per the new order, beauty parlours, salons, spas, and barbershops will remain closed. Only parcel/takeaway will be allowed in hotels, restaurants, and tea shops.</p> <p>All places of worship will be closed for the public from April 26.</p> <p>In its new order, the Tamil Nadu government has restricted attendees for Wedding ceremonies to a maximum number of 50 people. Besides this, 25 people have been allowed for funerals.</p> <p>Except for Puducherry, all other state passengers and travelers need to apply for e-pass through the government portal, they will be allowed inside the state only if cleared.</p> <p>(This is breaking news)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
