Dead body found near Independence Square, Suicide Suspected

A dead body was found near the Independence Square, Colombo this morning.

Police suspects the person might have  committed suicide by shooting himself.

His body was found with gunshot wounds and a 9MM pistol was nearby.

The person has been identified as a 64 year old living at Police Park area in Bambalapitiya.

Further investigation underway.
