24 Covid19 patients identified today, Total infected up to 295

24 new COVID19 patients confirmed today. All are from those in quarantine in the Bandaranayakpura area of Colombo 12.

Patients in Bandaranayakepura area are believed to be connected to the Patient who had arrived from India in March.

Army Commander Shavendra Silva speaking to Media yesterday said that unless for Essential services, entry into Colombo District in discouraged.
