Worldwide Covid Death Crosses 5 Million, India Along With 4 Countries Record Half Of Deaths: Report

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> India along with United States, Russia, Brazil, and Mexico are amongst the countries in which more than half of all global deaths due to the covid-19 pandemic has been reported on a seven-day average.</p> <p>As per Reuters analysis, it took at least a time period of one year for the world to register 2.5 million deaths due to the coronavirus, whereas the next 2.5 million deaths were recorded in 236 days.</p> <p>As per the Reuters tally, the global covid-19 death cases has surpassed the tally of 5 million on Friday, October 1, 2021.</p> <p>The reason behind the surge in the worldwide covid-19 death cases has been due to the delta variant.
