Over 11.8 million fully vaccinated in Sri Lanka
With 13,431 doses of COVID 19 vaccines administered on Sunday (3), the total number of vaccine doses administered so far in Sri Lanka increased to 26,441,235.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 1,056 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on Sunday, while 1,097 persons received the second dose.
Meanwhile, 6,401 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 4,291 individuals were administered the second Sinopharm dose. Around 440 individuals also received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 36 individuals received the second Pfizer dose.
Furthermore, 110 persons received the second dose of the Moderna vaccine.
So far, 11,861,029 individuals have been fully vaccinated in Sri Lanka, while a total of 14,580, 206 received at least one dose of a vaccine.
