US Department of Veterans Affairs becomes the first federal agency to require workers to get vaccinated

The US Department of Veterans Affairs announced on Monday that it will require healthcare employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, becoming the first federal agency to do so.
"I am doing this because it's the best way to keep our veterans safe, full stop," Denis McDonough, the secretary of veterans affairs, told New York Times of requiring 115,000 of the department's healthcare workers to be vaccinated.
