India Registers Over 4 Lakh New Covid Infections In Last 24 Hrs Crossing Another Grim Milestone

<p>With 401,993 new COVID-19 cases recorded in the last 24 hours, India became the first country in the world to register over 4 lakh infections in a single day. As many as 3523 new deaths were also reported on the day.</p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Indian Council of Medical Research said that 28,83,37,385 samples tested up to 30th April 2021 for </span><span class="r-18u37iz">COVID 19</span><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">. Maharashtra also recorded 828 casualties, followed by Delhi (375) and Uttar Pradesh (332). The country has so far reported a total of 1,91,63,488 cases and 2,11,778 deaths.</p>
