Biden rows back from embarrassing interview where he said Latinos are 'incredibly diverse' unlike African-Americans

- Joe Biden rowed back comments suggesting that African-Americans as a group do not have diverse political views, which he said was not the case for Latinos.
- The presumptive Democratic nominee said: "Most people don't know, unlike the African-American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community."

Presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden issued a statement rowing back comments in an interview where he suggested that the African-American community is not diverse.
In remarks to NPR's Lulu Garcia-Navarro on Thursday, he said: "Most people don't know, unlike the African-American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things."
