President Donald Trump antagonized New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday, writing on Twitter that Cuomo has been "calling daily, even hourly, begging for everything."
Cuomo is leading New York's response to battling COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. The state has been the hardest-hit in the country, reporting over 203,000 confirmed cases and more than 10,000 deaths from COVID-19 as of Tuesday. New York state accounts for over one-third of America's total coronavirus cases and 42% of the deaths.
