PCR tests for employees of 2 TV channels

Forty (40) employees of a state television channel are reportedly set to undergo PCR tests today, according to the Aruna Newspaper.

The PCR tests are to be conducted after a person who had participated in a program organized  in Minuwangoda on 1st October had tested positive for COVID-19.

The television channel had also conducted a program to mark ‘Children day’ on the same day in Minuwangoda.

A group of employees of the media channel who had participated in the program are to be subjected for PCR tests.

Meanwhile, a group of employees of a private television channel had also undertaken PCR tests yesterday (11), while their results are due today (12). (NewsWire)
